The tradition of celebrating Halloween with the modern day concept of haunted Halloween attractions may have started in North America 20 years ago, but the UK has certainly stepped up to the plate and answered the call. There are plenty of haunted and otherwise scary Halloween attractions in the UK that are well worth a visit. Haunted houses are a sure fire hit with just about everyone. And what about some good old-fashioned farm Halloween attractions, which can include a haunted hay ride, haunted barn, corn maze, and pumpkin patch. Of course, England has something that North America does not and it makes for a great and frightful time at Halloween. Castles! That’s right. There are plenty of real live authentic castles throughout England and other parts of the UK and these are ideal for some truly scary Halloween fun. While there are many fun aspects to Halloween, Halloween games are definitely at the top of the list as something that not only offers fun, but also creates memories. In fact, there are so many games that can be played at Halloween parties, that you might be truly astounded. There are classics and there are newer games and games that have been altered to fit with the Halloween theme. Consider this one that may just be the most classic of all Halloween games – bobbing for apples. This is a time-honoured game that everyone has probably played at least once. It is loads of fun and very hard to do. You must keep you hands behind you (tied if necessary) and trying to capture an apple with your teeth.
